EL Wire requires a power source in order to turn on. If you are wanting to use EL Wire for a fixed power situation, such as on a sign, on trees, in a building etc. Something you would like to be powered for a long time or permanently, these mains power Inverters are the perfect solution. The inverter comes with a connector designed to plug straight into our EL Wire.

These Inverters can power 1 to 50m of EL Wire from the same inverter! Splitters can be used to join multiple lengths of EL Wire to the same inverter.

    This is commercial quality EL Wire, please be aware that not all EL Wire sold on the internet is of the same quality. If you want a quality EL Wire that is produced for commercial use, then this is it.

    Our EL wire comes in a variety of colours and lengths. We also have El Wire Inverters available which power the wire from two AA Batteries. 5m EL Wire requires a 240V inverter.

    EL Wire is like a long glow stick that is powered by batteries, through an 'Inverter'.


    The inverter is a separate product (get one here), however you will typically need one inverter for each piece of EL wire you want to power. The inverter has multiple modes: slow flash, fast flash and off.


    The diameter of the EL wire is 2.3mm
